NCTE PodcastsListen to a free podcast of this session from the 2006 Annual Convention of the Conference on College Composition and Communication!

Given the explicit link between No Child Left Behind and the Commission on the Future of Higher Education, this featured Roundtable session at the 2006 CCCC Annual Convention initiates a discussion of the Commission's goals and how the writing studies community can provide input and commentary on the Commission's work.

The panelists, distinguished leaders in the fields of writing and reading, will lead a provacative discussion to determine how we as a profession can influence this attempt to create a national literacy policy in ways that are effective and educationally sound.

Panelists include Dennis Baron, Jackie Jones Royster, Andrea Lunsford, and Randy Bomer
