How NCTE Takes Positions on Literacy Education Issues - Previous Revision

NCTE's position statements and guidelines on literacy education issues are developed
  • by members (through resolutions voted on during the Annual Business Meeting),
  • by the NCTE Executive Committee (on topics often suggested by Council members), and
  • by NCTE's constituent groups

and have been used to influence policy at local and federal levels.
