Throughout its 100-year history, NCTE has emphasized the importance of access libraries and to books and is excited to work with First Book in a new partnership that puts more high-quality books into the hands of children in need.

First Book, a nonprofit organization that celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, has distibuted more than 90 million books and educational resources to programs and schools serving children from low-income families throughout the United States and Canada.
