From the Front(Line) articles are written by Charles Suhor, former NCTE/SLATE Field Representative, and Censorship Challenge Report articles are written by Millie Davis, NCTE Division Director of Affiliate and Communications. From the Front(Line) was a featured column of the SLATE Newsletter. Upon Charles Suhor's retirement, it was replaced with the Censorship Challenge Report.
