Write a Letter to the Editor or Opinion Piece on NCLB
Would you take a few minutes to inform your community and influence the policy around the No Child Left Behind Act by writing a letter to the editor or an opinion piece for your local newspaper. In your letter or opinion piece, please include one or more of the NCTE Recommendations for Changing No Child Left Behind along with your thoughts about why the law needs to be changed. You may want to consult the tips and samples on the NCTE website as you plan how to share your point of view with the members of your community. And please send us a copy of your letter and the name of the publication to which you sent it.
