On behalf of the Black Caucus of NCTE and the National Council of Teachers of English, we thank you for your participation in the 2010 African American Read-In. We are particularly proud of all the students who took part in reading and listening to works by Black authors.

Have you held a Read-In? If so, let us know about it. Send a brief description of how you proceeded from start to finish and what your experience was like. Other participants might find it of interest and it might get others to host their own Read-In. You can also send us articles from newspapers, school notices, church flyers or any other information pertaining to your Read-In. If you send photographs, please send along written permission for use. Send all materials to Linda Walters at NCTE Headquarters.
