NAEP National Assessment of Educational Progress

The National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), also known as "the Nation's Report Card," is the only nationally representative and continuing assessment of what America's students know and can do in various subject areas.

 

Educational Testing Service Research and Development

The ETS Research and Development department provides educational measurement research and analysis, product development, and information policy studies.

The College Board Research Library
The College Board performs research on their own assessment programs, national and state programs, and other topics in education.  

ERIC Clearinghouse on Assessment and Evaluation
ERIC AE, a clearinghouse of the Educational Resources Information Center, provides balanced information concerning educational assessment, evaluation and research methodology.

National Center for Research on Evaluation, Standards, and Student Testing (CRESST)
Research at CRESST has focused on the development of scientifically based evaluation and testing techniques, vigorously promoting the accurate use of data, test scores, and technology for improved accountability and decision making.

National Board for Educational Testing and Public Policy
The National Board on Educational Testing and Public Policy monitors tests for appropriate use and technical adequacy.
