NCTE Point System
NCTE uses a point system to assign convention exhibit hall booth space. Currently, there are three ways for exhibiting firms to accumulate points: through exhibit booth rental, advertising in the Convention Program or Preview, or through sponsorship.
Exhibit Booth Rental
Each firm* accumulates five points for each year during the past five years that it has exhibited at either the NCTE Annual Convention or CCCC Convention. An additional point is added to each year's total for each booth in excess of one.
For example: Booth ($1,100) = 5 points (+1 point for each additional booth)
Program & Preview Advertising
Firms can earn exhibiting points by purchasing advertising in the Convention Preview and/or Program. Below is a list of advertising opportunities and their corresponding point values:

Sponsorship
For every $250 in sponsorship support, a firm will earn 1 exhibiting point. For more information on sponsorship opportunities, please contact Media Sales.
Additional Policies
Points accumulate separately for each exhibiting event, they may not be combined. For instance, points accumulated at an Annual Convention may only be used for Annual Conventions. Points from CCCC may only be used at CCCC.
*If subsidiaries of larger parent companies wish to access their parent company's points for booth assignment, all exhibit space reservation forms must be received together. The points earned by the subsidiary will then be added to the parent company's totals.
