Family Explorations! WinterFest
Sunday, December 19 12-4pm

Noon – 4:00 Hands-on activities  
Piñata making with Jessyca Cabezas-Casas
Making paper snowflakes with D.E.A.F. Media    
Making Kwanzaa gifts with Linda Seabrooks-Campbell 
Chanukah activity with Ellen Oppenheimer   
Arabic calligraphy activity           

12:30-3:00 Henna Garden - Henna Tattoos   

1:10-1:30 and 2:40-3:00 Storytelling in the History Gallery     
1:45-2:15 Ramadan Lecture and Music with Saed Muhssin and a local Islamic scholar       

3:30-4:00 Kwanzaa education and music with Gregory Hodge and Melanie DeMore 

The Oakland Museum of California is located at 10th and Oak Streets, one block from Lake Merritt BART station.

Admission to WinterFest is included in general museum admission: $8 general/$5 seniors and students/members and kids under 5 free.
