Interim Editor of CITE (English) Journal - National Council of Teachers of English

We’re pleased to announce that Bradley Robinson, Texas State University, has been appointed as interim coeditor of CITE (English) Journal. Robinson will serve as interim coeditor from January 2023 through July 2023, working with the present editor, Phil Nichols.

 

Bradley Robinson is an assistant professor of educational technology and secondary education in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at Texas State University. Attention to the creative and critical capacities of digital technologies in literacy education is central to Brad’s scholarship, which has examined such topics as novice video game design, digital platforms in and out of education, and artificial intelligence. His commitment to mindful, authentic, and just implementations of digital technologies runs deep, and it informs his work in support of ethical and equitable literacy education across ages and contexts.

Robinson’s work has appeared in Written CommunicationLearning, Media, and TechnologyInternational Journal of Qualitative Studies in Education; Qualitative Inquiry; Literacy Research: Theory, Method, and Practice; Postdigital Science in Education; and English Journal.

Formerly a secondary English teacher in North Carolina, Robinson holds a PhD in language and literacy education from the University of Georgia. He also holds an MA in English from Middlebury College’s Bread Loaf School of English.
