NCTE Resources Offer Help with Hot Education Topics

Do you or your colleagues need ideas and resources for early or adolescent literacy, elementary or secondary level English language learners, grammar, spelling, the college research paper, or other "hot" issues?

If so, then check out the free "Teaching Resource Collections" available from NCTE's homepage at
http://www.ncte.org. You'll find links to professional readings from NCTE journals, chapters from NCTE books, teaching strategies, sample convention sessions, and other NCTE material collected on these and additional topics.

More topics are being added and visitors can use the Web form to suggest other topics for which they could use resources.

Get Even More in a Resource Kit

New Professional Development Resource Kits provide an in-depth collection of NCTE resources that complement and extend those available through the Teaching Resource Collections. The kits combine the best of NCTE books, journals, Reading Initiative, and CoLEARN resources in a kit that is mailed to you. The kits also include information on additional free resources related to the topic, such as ReadWriteThink lesson plans and NCTE policies and position statements. Visit NCTE's Online Store for pricing information (
http://www.ncte.org/store), or call (toll free) 877-369-6283 for more information.
