Develop, implement, and oversee the language arts curriculum (including writing across the curriculum support to all instructors, school newspaper, literature, major research). Includes opportunity to expand current program; construct curriculum; co-teach interdisciplinary classes; draft and maintain a budget; and mentor a Public Allies fellow (teacher in training). The Duke University Talent Identification Program (Duke TIP) seeks experienced teachers for part-time, short-term teaching and curriculum development positions. Create and deliver challenging, innovative courses for gifted elementary, middle, and high-school students in English-Language Arts. Positions include instructor in Duke TIP’s e-Studies online program and curriculum developer in Duke TIP’s Independent Learning Program.
