Starting August 2008: one-year Visiting Assistant Professor in composition studies with an emphasis on developmental writing at St. Bonaventure University in western New York State. Writing Center administrative experience and/or ESL training is desired. PhD in composition studies preferred. 4/4 load includes developmental writing, freshman composition, and advanced writing electives. Application review will begin immediately.

The Director will recruit, train and evaluate all writing instructors and develop a Writing-Across-the-Curriculum program. The position includes teaching responsibilities.
Director of English Education
The Department of English at Elizabethtown College is accepting applications for a tenure-track Director of English Education at the Assistant or Associate level.
Assistant Professor, Composition
The Department of English at Rider University seeks to hire a specialist in composition studies in a tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor to begin in September of 2009.
Instructor
One-year instructor position to teach primarily freshman composition along with creative writing and sophomore literature survey courses, starting August 15, 2008.
Assistant Professor, Literary Theory
The Department of English at Rider University seeks to hire a theorist with a strong interest in literature of the Americas in a tenure track position at the level of Assistant Professor to begin in September of 2009.
Assistant Professor of English in Technical and Professional Writing
The position is a 9-month tenure-track appointment to teach technical and professional writing on the Spartanburg and/or Greenville campuses of the University of South Carolina Upstate.
