NCTE is pleased to provide you with a quick reference listing of select grant programs available for the language arts.  By clicking on the name of the program, you will be able to learn more about the particular requirements and timelines of each funding program.  Most of the grant programs listed are international or national in scope.

In addition to the links in the Quick Reference Listing, be sure to check the Federal Government Grants Web Site.  This site allows anyone to search federal grant listings, download and complete application forms, and apply for grants online. All 26 federal grant-making agencies have information on their grant programs available through the site. Together the agencies award millions of dollars in grants every year. "By putting relevant information in one place," said Tommy G. Thompson, the secretary of health and human services, "we're hoping to level the playing field for organizations less familiar with federal grant programs so that they too can identify and apply for appropriate grants."
