NEH Summer Stipend Awards
Summer stipends support individuals pursuing advanced research that contributes to scholarly knowledge or to the public's understanding of the humanities. Recipients usually produce scholarly articles, monographs on specialized subjects, books on broad topics, archaeological site reports, translations, editions, or other scholarly tools.

North Carolina's Touchstone Energy Co-Ops to Fund Classroom Projects
Certified K-12 teachers in North Carolina will be awarded grants of up to $2,000 for hands-on classroom projects, including activities in music, art, history, language, reading, science, career-planning, and information technology.... (For deadline date, see program Web site)
