Task Force on Council History and 2011

Charge: To craft policy designed to the archives of NCTE and its constituent units and to ensure that these archives are publicly accessible; to plan and prepare events/materials to commemorate NCTE's centennial (2011). Among the kinds of activities in which task force members will engage are the following: crafting of archive policy, making recommendations for appropriate storage of archives; pursuing grants to support archive work; pursuing grants for an updated NCTE/literacy education history; planning and making recommendations for centennial activities, publications, public relations, etc.
