2002 Annual Report, Achievement Awards in Writing Advisory Committee

The Achievement Awards in Writing Advisory Committee met at the Annual Convention in Baltimore last November to edit and approve the final wording for the two impromptu writing prompts for the 2002 competition. The Committee also examined the rubrics used for judging and determined that no change was needed at this time. The members will meet in Atlanta to finalize the two topics for 2003. As always, the Committee is grateful to Dr. Sandra Gibbs and her staff for handling the myriad administrative details of the NCTE Writing Awards Program.
