Representativeness

Membership in Council subgroups should include as many sectors of the Council's diverse membership as possible--especially people of color, women, and elementary, middle school/junior high, and secondary classroom teachers, but also individuals with various philosophical perspectives, new leaders, senior members of NCTE, and persons from various geographic areas.
