Special Activities And Projects
 
Although Commissions and Standing Committees are encouraged to place their advisory and deliberative roles foremost, they might at times choose to propose certain activities and projects.  Such initiatives should be formally proposed rather than mentioned in postconvention reports or Annual Reports.  (See Note, paragraph 3, under Duties of Commission Directors and Standing Committee Chairs.) Strategies for some of these are outlined below.
