Honoring Others Through Your Gifts
Gift giving is always meaningful when it is done in honor of someone's life or work. Learn how you can honor the important people in your life!
Perhaps you would like to make a gift in honor of someone who:
- Is about to celebrate a birthday or anniversary
- Has mentored you in a special way
- Recently graduated from school and is about to begin his or her first teaching assignment
- Received a promotion
- Just completed a large teaching, research or service project
- Is retiring from the profession
- Recently passed away
You may also want to give recognition to broader groups within the profession such as new teachers, community college instructors, or the teaching staff at your alma mater. You decide! Those you honor will feel touched that you thought not only of them but also of the work they do.
It's Easy to Do

- Make a gift using one of our three easy donation methods.
- E-mail and indicate whom you wish to celebrate. For individuals, we'll gladly send a note to your honoree (or their family) informing them about your gift in their honor. (Kindly supply us with a postal mailing address, please.)
